Has anyone tried out the diffuser. I am very anxious to give it a try. I have a brisket waiting in the refrigerator. Mine should be here on the 29th.

I tried mine out yesterday, worked great.

Have not gotten to try mine yet, but have already made a modification to make it work and be able to lock down the CI Grate. Look under Diffuser Fix if you are interested.

Using it to cook a meatloaf as I type.  Not sure I'll post pics, with all or Randall's, Hook's and others posts, I fill like a 4 year old with a coloring book in a room full or Rembrants.

Don't get discouraged JD - post away bud. We're not judgmental here.. I am in the same boat as you, and post on occasion.  Smiley

JD...like FLbob said we aren't here to critique...share away.  Besides, cooking anything on the keg becomes a master piece.  Even the "chipotle chaulk" one inventor kegger came up with. Grin

I just don't share my failures with cooking.

I wise man on a photography forum I used to post on said, "The difference between a professional and an amateur photographer is that the professional only shows you his good photos."  Obviously, there's more to it than that, but he made a good point.

Regarding what I'll put up, I'll post my lessons learned (eg, a meatloaf I did today taught me some lessons, I'll post pics and lessons learned later).  Also, if I do spatchcocked chicken, ribs or pulled pork, I'll post those just to see if I'm keeping up with the standards, or maybe departing from the standard and doing it my way.

My every day stuff such as plain old burgers, dogs, chops, etc probably won't make the post cause while I'll admit they are much better on the keg than anything else I cook on, I just ain't taking the time and they don't have the interest level of eggs benedict with hollandaise (sorry Hookem, interesting, but yuk for me on that), or the super complicated combo cooks you maestro's are capable of achieving.

Thanks for the encouragement guys, JD

I received my ship notice email too, can't wait.  I bet you will get yours before I do since I'm up in the northwest

Mine finally showed up today.  It was supposed to be here last thursday or friday but UPS was delayed due to some flooding.  Can't wait to try it out.

Hey folks.  Perhaps I am not too saavy with the computer, but I don't see where I can get the diffuser on the site.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks.
