I hail from S. Central Michigan near our Capital.
I just finished up sealing around the bottom vent and will fire it up tomorrow for a breaking session.
I have been doing bbq for about 12 years now and own too much bbq equipment.
I have also done some comps, assisted another team at the American Royal last fall.
They just won a comp a couple weeks ago, invited me to assist their team this fall at the American Royal again this fall.

Thanks for letting me join your forum.

Welcome indeed!  I am bullish on the Keg and would advise accumulation of lump charcoal and meat to cook. Cheesy

Mike, you didn't join, you married into the family.  She's short and fat, but she sure can cook.   Grin

Welcome!
