There are 4 Bubba Kegs left at the 59th Ave & Loop 101 in Phx, Az.  I have searched all over Phx and I have not hit all of the Home Depot's but this is the only one that i have found.  Good luck all.

Home Depot @ Dysart & I-10 has 5.  2 assembled & 3 in a box.  Guy said they just got them in.  Still $299.99.  I only saw 4 though. 3 in boxes & 1 out on display.  Wish I had the $$$$ to get another.

Hello fellow Bubba Kegger's,

Home Depot will honor a Lowe's 10% discount coupon and take that amount off the already low $299 price. I bought another one last week using a Lowe's coupon.

The HD store in Glendale, Arizona at Loop 101 & 59th Ave. has a few BKG's left. I saw one this morning Aug. 2.

Sam's club has 40lb bags of mesquite lump charcoal for $15. There are several varieties of Kingsford briquettes in two-paks for about $14 at Wal-Mart, Costco and Sam's. I use briquettes for short runs like BB chicken and various grilling. It's a good way to use up the 60lbs or so I have on hand. I can't complain about the USA made Royal Oak lump and the best lump so far is the house brand from BBQ's Galore. I haven't tried them all yet...LOL.

I made a charcoal basket from flattened diamond mesh screen. It was fairly easy to cut by hand with a hacksaw and hd pliers. The bottom is held in by bending the tag ends up and around the nearest diamond. Looks like junk but works like gold. It's 10" dia. and 4" high. Just give it a few shakes to sift out the white ash then reuse the remaining lump. I love the vent feature of the Keg's which allows you to shut off the air and save the charcoal.

We're still munching on the ribs cooked Friday. The BKG did a great job on that huge load but maybe I won't do so many next time. BTW, I don't turn them and don't remove the membrane from the ribs. They seem to cook just fine and the membrane is hardly apparent when they are done....it practically disappears. I baste with apple juice in a hand sprayer. yummy!!

I did home made pizza yesterday, another yummy! Later this week we'll do pork chops on the BKG. This time I'll try apple wood chips.

Cheers,
