Available in the D/FW Tx area? If so I'll give it a try.

I have ordered my grill and don't have it yet so let me know if this already exists. It appears that the cast iron grate has an edge to it. I would like to see the ability to flip it over and have a flat side for better searing.

This might be a big no-no but I cooked a brisket on mine this past week and noticed I could take the top grill, turn it upside down and it fit good enough to sit a pan of water to use as a diffuser between the coals and the meat. It ALMOST fit. The leg was about 1/4" too long for the top grill too completely clear but it was close enough. Perhaps you could figure out a way to make it fit better for that.

How about a accessory to utilize a rotisserie? I know the Komado (sp?) comes with a hole built in for this. When I first joined the board I mentioned an Idea I had in my head RB, I am no engineer but if your interested I could make a crude drawing and shoot it your way if its something you'd be interested in taking a look at.. again I say crude like Microsoft paint level but once you see where my head is you could either run with it or tell em how stupid of an idea it was

Had my BSK for a couple weeks now. The diffuser/plate setter is a must to go low and slow. Was going to get the BGE plate setter but am holding out a little hoping the real deal comes along. I have done a pizza already with my wife's pampered chef stone and it worked out fine. But with that said,I am all about keeping the economy going and having my own stuff so I would pick up a BSK stone if offered. Makes for an easier division of assets when she leaves me. And as a side note. I am loving my BSK. Going to do my chicken on it for the KCBS portion of Roc City Rib Fest coming up Memorial day in Rochester NY. May have 2 by then so the brisket will have an equally nice home.

Funniest thing I have read on here yet ... Are you from Rochester area? If so, have you had your fill of Dinasours BBQ? I know it is a Syracuse original, but they also have one in Rochester, correct?

First timer here. I've been BBQing and smoking forever. Currently use a Weber kettle grill and a Char-Griller smoker with the firebox on the side, but I believe I'm headed out this weekend to pick up my first Bubba Keg Grill. I've been eyeing the Green Egg and Primo Oval XL for some time, but have passed on them because of their cost, weight and their propensity to crack. Two weeks ago I saw the Bubba Keg Grill in Home Depot and fell in love.
Given the accessories I use today, when I get my Bubba Key Grill I would definitely use the following:
Diffuser Kit - Yes Pizza Stone - Yes V-rack / Rib Rack - Yes Kabob Skewers - Yes Griddle - No Vertical Chicken Roaster (beer can) - Yes Digital Thermometer - Yes Grill Light - No Magnetic Timer - No Vegetable Basket (grill skillet) - Yes Fish Basket (closed basket) - No Fixed table mount bracket - No
If you had these beside the Bubba Keg Grill in Home Depot today I'd be picking them up this weekend!

Spend the money and license the logos for NFL and NCAA Football and sell sets of the trailer hitch adapter and the logo applique for the BSK- Tailgater advertising is cheap and impacting
Kegvection Grilling in every parking lot of every game in tailgating events will win the business

Exactly Boat, I will be attending Texas Motor Speedway in a couple of weeks, and this thing is going with me so we can tailgate in the parking lot between practice runs and races. Just gotta drill a hole in the bottom frame to lock the keg up to my hitch. I'm gonna be a great advertiser for the Bubba Keg.

I think that the little hooks that hold accessories on the two side tables should be curved a lot more. Implements fall off to easily.

I would like to see a regular "wire" grate the same diameter as the cast iron grate to use for low and slow cooking. That way, I could save my cast iron grate for steaks and chop or just when I want those great sear marks.

Ahhhh....a remote controlled lid opener, that also reports temp, and can open and close both vents while, i am sitting watching The Masters. And perhaps a camera on it too....that way you could watch your food cook.....
I do not think this would add much to the retail price!!!!!

It would be nice to have a lower door to add smoke wood and or charcoal while still keeping it well insulated. Is there any thought of making a larger version like with a 22" dia grill surface that you potential add a lower door. I know it would ad cost but I still think it would be better and slightly cheaper then your competitors. What do you think BSK XL(22") Plus(Lower door). While you are designing that you might as well add some holes to fit a rotisory unit.
